a stimulating and exciting way. By engaging a child through the use of
storytelling, a Teacher or Educator can show how the story is relevant to a
child's world. By connecting the lessons in a story to the world a child lives in,
lessons can be learned and can be retained longer. Storybooks that have
high moral value and altruistic lessons become the stepping stones to instilling
humanity and kindness on all levels of life skill development.
